Facebook and Instagram data deletion
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This page explains how to disconnect Facebook or Instagram from LevelUpGrowth and how to have the data we received from Meta deleted. See also the Privacy Policy, section 5. LevelUpGrowth is operated by Level Up Growth FZE LLC, a Free Zone Entity licensed by the Ajman Nuventures Centre (ANC) Free Zone, Government of Ajman, United Arab Emirates (licence no. 2629521929888), registered at BC-894540, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Deletion questions: [email protected].
1. Disconnect
- In LevelUpGrowth: Social → Facebook → Disconnect. The stored Page access token and the permissions you granted are deleted immediately.
- In Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, then remove Level Up Growth. Facebook sends us a deletion request and we delete the data received through that connection automatically. Facebook shows you a confirmation code you can check below.
2. Ask us to delete your Meta data
- If you have a LevelUpGrowth account (workspace owner or admin): sign in and go to Social → Facebook → Delete Facebook data. The deletion runs at once for the workspace you are signed in to, and you get a confirmation code.
- If you removed the app in Facebook: nothing more to do. Use the code Facebook gave you below.
- If you commented on a business’s Facebook Page that uses LevelUpGrowth: ask that business first. You can also use the contact form: start your message with “Meta data deletion” and include the name of the Page you commented on and the name shown on your comment, so we can find the right records.
3. What is deleted
- The stored Page access token and the permissions granted.
- The Page details we keep (follower count, picture, category) and the hashed Facebook user reference.
- The comments received from that Page (commenter names and IDs, text, drafted replies).
- Facebook names and IDs copied into client records.
- The raw responses and statistics Facebook returned for published posts.
4. What may be kept
- The business’s own posts and articles, and its client records (without the Facebook fields above). The business can delete these itself.
- Posts already published on Facebook stay on Facebook. Remove them on Facebook.
- Billing and tax records and security logs, for as long as the law or the security of the Service requires.
- A deletion record: the confirmation code, the dates and the number of items deleted. It contains no personal data.
